- Prepare quotes and proposals for prospective customers.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through networking, referrals and campaign marketing strategies.
- Conduct and maintain regular follow-ups to prospects.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- Cross-sell additional insurance products when appropriate (e.g., home, auto, life).
- Identify potential gap exposures and recommend additional coverages or policy upgrades.
- Handle customer’s inquiries professionally, working to resolve inquiries in a seamless manner.
- Provide timely responses to client inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
Customer’s Interaction
- Aim for customer retention rates and contribute to long-term customer loyalty by engaging with new and existing customers to understand their insurance requirements.
- Respond to inquiries regarding insurance coverage, policy changes, renewals, and billing.
- Provide explanations of insurance products, benefits, and exclusions.
- Assist customers with policy applications, endorsements, cancellations, and renewals.
- Review and process policy changes or updates in a timely manner.
Claims Assistance
- Provide guidance to clients in the claims process, helping them complete forms and gather necessary documentation.
- Follow up with claims adjusters and clients to ensure timely resolution of claims.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and organized records of customer’s interactions, policy details, and transactions.
- Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and company policies.
- Use insurance software systems to update customers’ accounts.
Skills & Qualifications
- Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer Service Strong ability to manage client relationships and handle inquiries.
- Sales Basic sales skills with a focus on customer needs and service.
- Problem Solving Ability to resolve client issues effectively and efficiently.
- Organizational Skills Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple clients and policies.
- Technical Proficiency Familiarity with insurance software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
- Experience in customer service or sales preferred.
- Prior experience in insurance or customer service preferred but not required
- Familiarity with various insurance products (home, auto, life, health, etc.) is an asset
- Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health Licensed prior to job commencement
Compensation $39,520.00 - $60,320.00 per year
